British Matilda tanks

DescriptionConcept art of British Matilda tanks rolling through the Western Desert (which the Allies invaded in late1942), whilst a German Panzer Mk III (with soldier surrendering) goes up in flames. Of interest are the coloured pennants flying from the tank turrets, which were used to denote commanders' vehicles and also different troops within armoured squadrons and regiments when wireless communication was still rudimentary.
